  • Ordering and going over your blood tests

Your medicine

From $149 a month

If Dr. Tina prescribes a GLP-1, you buy it from the pharmacy at its published self-pay price, with free delivery to your door. You pay the pharmacy directly, and we never mark it up. Prices depend on the medicine and dose: see them all below.

Medicine prices are set by the pharmacies, not by us.

What your first month could cost

  • Starting the Wegovy pill or Foundayo: $99 + $149 = $248
  • Starting Wegovy pens: $99 + $199 = $298 (the pharmacy’s price for new patients’ first 2 months)
  • Starting Zepbound: $99 + $299 = $398, plus syringes and needles or pen needles

Plus blood tests if you need them (below). Most medicines cost more as your dose goes up: the tables show each dose.

Medicine prices by dose

Each medicine starts at a low dose that goes up step by step. Dr. Tina will choose the medicine and doses with you. All prices are per month and include free delivery.

Checked October 18, 2026 on the pharmacies’ own sites: LillyDirect: Zepbound, LillyDirect: Foundayo and NovoCare Pharmacy. Pharmacies can change their prices and terms at any time: the price you pay is the one the pharmacy shows when you pay.

Blood tests

Before you start, Dr. Tina often checks your blood sugar (A1c), kidneys and liver, cholesterol, thyroid and blood count. If you’ve had these tests in the past few months, your results may be enough. If not, you’ll pay the lab directly at its published cash price: about $110 to $230 for all five, depending on the lab (checked October 17, 2026).

Insurance, HSA and FSA

  • Insurance: we don’t bill insurance for Dr. Tina’s care. If your plan covers GLP-1 medicines for weight, Dr. Tina can send your prescription to a pharmacy in your plan’s network instead, and your plan’s rules and copay apply.
  • HSA and FSA: LillyDirect says Zepbound and Foundayo are HSA and FSA eligible, though eligibility may vary by plan. For Wegovy and for Dr. Tina’s care, check with your plan before you pay: each one has its own rules.
  • Medicare: through December 31, 2027, Medicare’s GLP-1 Bridge covers Foundayo, Wegovy and Zepbound KwikPens for $50 a month for some people with Part D, if they meet its rules. Please contact us before you book: we’re still setting up care for people with Medicare. Read more about the Bridge.
